Before the birth of John and Jesus, Gabriel brought the good news from God. Those who received the good news responded differently to what God was about to do. Zechariah did not believe, Elizabeth acknowledged God’s intervention, and Mary modeled a faith-driven belief and acceptance. What God did in Mary was the beginning of what He was about to do for the world.
