We accept the Bible as God’s Word by faith. But what is the rational evidence to support this claim–evidence for the earnest Christian, the skeptic, the doubter, the Christian young person leaving home for college or the workplace, answers for the critic or the curious? Creation evidence, historical evidence, prophetic evidence, evidence for the miracles, the Bible’s self-authenticating evidence, manuscript evidence (the problem of variant manuscripts treated), the evidence of the life, person, and resurrection of Christ, answers to the canonicity question (which books belong in the Bible), as well as response to modern critics’ attacks–all of this is included in this course.
