The exodus reminds us of the fact that God will always keep his promises. However, sometimes people are like the Pharaoh, so proud and stubborn that they resist God to the very end. Yet, others might be like the Israelites, so broken and exhausted they wonder if God is trustworthy and will come through for them. Through the exodus, God proved his power and control over all situations and circumstances in life.
