Pastor John LeVahn is our Senior Pastor. He received a Master of Divinity degree from North Park Theological Seminary in 1981 and was ordained in the Evangelical Covenant Church in 1985. John and his wife, Sandy, along with their 4 children, moved from the plains of Kansas to the lakes of Alexandria in 1993. They have fallen in love with the congregation and the community and believe that God wants to transform their city through practical, Spirit empowered preaching, teaching, and fellowship. John enjoys family life and spends his winter months dreaming of summer tennis.

Pastor Trinity Opp received his master’s degree with a focus on Transformational Leadership from Bethel Seminary in 2007. Trinity, his wife Gwen, along with their 3 children Josiah, Grace, and Noah moved from Bismarck, ND to Alexandria, MN in May of 2011 at which time Trinity joined the staff at Alexandria Covenant. Moving to Alexandria has been a great experience for the Opp family as it feels a little like moving back home. Gwen grew up in Central Minnesota and we are grateful for the opportunity to serve a great church close to family. We look forward to many great years of service at Alexandria Covenant Church.
Nancy Holm

Nancy Holm became the Director of Worship Arts in April 2004. She graduated from Bethel College with degrees in Church Music and Music Education. She enjoys working with the variety of styles of music and the awesome musicians of every age! Nancy especially loves watching the youth develop their musical skills and passion for worship as they grow! Nancy has been married to her husband Doug for 20 years. They have three children and love the summers on the lake in Alex!
Julie Barnes

Julie Barnes has been blessed to raise her own children in a faith believing body of Christ at Alexandria Covenant. In 2003 she began directing the Children's Ministry programs from the nursery through the elementary grades. The tremendous growth in the children and families' faith during these busy years is a daily inspiration to her. What a joy to have kids know God's everlasting love, be passionate about His Word, and live lives that apply His truth. Julie taught Early Childhood and Family Education for over 20 years in the public schools before joining us in full time ministry. She and her husband Randy have 3 great young adult children, and look forward to God's plan unfolding for the next milestones.
